This is getting beyond frustrating. It's now every time.

I've followed the steps mentioned through the support tickets i've opened.

The only way i can get clips to render successfully is if I pre render it down to 1080p in the free sony memories software.

A simple 3 clip video. No cuts...Added a subtitle in the first clip.

At the transition to the third and final clip. It goes out of sync.

I'm buying a new computer. core i7 7700 32gb ram, 1tb ssd, gtx 1070
But i'm running a core i7 4700 8gb ram, sata with nothing on it.

This video was recorded at 4k 45mbps. Which is lower than what i usually do in hopes to avoid it.

any tips? or should i get my money back on this program?

I can't understand precisely what the problem is. Are you adding voice to the video clips and that is what goes out of sync? If this is not it, How is the sync changing: is audio behind or ahead? You say no cuts, are you extending/shrinking the length of the video clip? In short, for me to help better, I need more details: Is the out of sync after rendering or during project play? What are your project properties and Render/Share settings.

Like Al, I am also puzzled as to what exactly you are doing. With the 4K original video, what are you trying to render it to? I am assuming 4K but in the same format as the original? If so, are you going to Share > Same as First Clip or Same As Project Settings (if the latter match the original video's Properties)? Or are you choosing something else?

Importantly, is SmartRender enabled or not? I am pretty sure it is enabled by default, so I would first try disabling it and trying to render again without SmartRender... In the now somewhat distant past -- at least four or five years ago now -- SmartRender caused some out of sync problems for some users, though this was mainly with standard def video. Their problems were usually fixed if they disabled SmartRender. However, I had been under the impression that this problem had disappeared some versions ago...

Hi Al,

The video example was a simple three clip video.

I shot the entire video in 3 segments only using corel to combine the 3 and add a subtitle in the first clip.

I was speaking into an external mic so no audio edits were made

That's it.

I did not do any further edits. I even tried exporting in different 4k file formats.

each clip plays perfectly fine on their own. In VLC or WM. Or i can upload them to youtube individually and they play fine.
I can also do what i did in Corel, on the free sony software. ANd it works fine.
THe OOS is after rendering.

When i goto the share section. If I select "same as project settings"
this is how it renders
NTSC drop frame (29.97 fps)
MPEG-4 Files
24 bits, 3840 x 2160, 29.97 fps
Frame-based
H.264 High Profile Video: 59998 Kbps
48000 Hz, 16 Bit, Stereo
LPCM Audio: 768 Kbps

The youtube vid which I linked in my OP was rendered by choosing MPGEG4 avc 4k 40Mbps
mpeg4 files
24 bits, 3840 x 2160, 29.97 fps
Frame-based
H.264 High Profile Video: 40000 Kbps, 16:9
44100 Hz, 16 Bit, Stereo
MPEG AAC Audio: 192 Kbps

Camera setting was
XAVC S 4K : 3840x2160/30p, 24p,
100mbps or 60mpbs (same result with the OOS post render)

I did just order a new computer.

Hoping to cut down on render times. I just need to know if Corel is what I should be using. Regardless of how simple my 4k edits may be.

So i'm going from a core 1 7 4770 to a 7700. From 8 to 32gb ram....1gb video card to a 4gb card. And a 1tb sata to 1tb SSD.

You didn't comment on my suggestion about disabling SmartRender. Just untick the box shown in the attached image. Then try rendering again using your original video.

Hi Ken,
Apologies

I believe I tried it with and without. However to be certain, I rendering it again with the box unchecked.
