How to scale and postition

Hello,

I'm trying to do something in VS x9 that I see that someone in a Youtube video did with Adobe Premier. He did a scale and position to get a video to move from one place to another and scale down...done with keyframes.

Here is the link to the video if someone doesn't mind looking. The section I'm referring to is from 1:54 to 2:54 on the video if you don''t want to watch the whole thing. He said you can do it in other software too.

So I'd like to know if anyone knows how to do that in VS.

This is quite easy. Put your video clips into the overlay tracks and use Advanced Motion.

Advanced motion? I never heard of it.

I even googled it and can't find it. It would take all night to find it in the VS manual because it doesn't have an index.

Are you sure your not getting that from x10, because I still have x9

Corel VS uses 2 names for the same thing, if you right click on a video in the overlay track, you select Customize Motion, if you click on the options button, it is called Advanced Motion

Oh, no wonder...they're hiding it. Can you tell me if you can use that like it showed in the video in my post?
