Hi
Is VSPx10 able to support the new 10bit files coming from the new Panasonic GH5 camera just released this month?
I've briefly tested a MOV 4k file 10bit on the timeline of my VSP Ultimate x9.5 however there's some coloured interference on the bottom of the video as it plays

Well, if this spanking new camera that just released this month and do MOV's, than you better go the MAC way as apple do not care for QT on PC any more.

Very few cameras in regular users (not professional videographers) means you are unlikely to get users experiences. You need to share with the rest of us and tell Corel if they are not supporting new formats from this camera. I own the GH4 and are not planning on buying this new camera. From past experience, I recommend you select the .mp4 formats and you may have better results. Please share your experience with us.Phil wrote:Hi

Re: Panasonic GH5 & VSP x10
I've made a few samples of 1080p and 4K MP4 video clips. My VSP x9 will work with all the 1080p and 4K MP4 clips except for the one that has 25fps 4K 4:2:2 10 bit colour. The message reads "Unable to open file, File Format Mismatch 16803:1:2)
They all play ok in my MPC media player.
Any clues?
However, VSP will take the equivalent MOV video to the timeline.

Re: Panasonic GH5 & VSP x10
You might try X10; however, the trial version is very crippled. You can also ask Corel if they have added support for the 10 bit color depth files to X10, and if they have not, they Corel should know these file formats are here. You can buy X10, check it out, and get a refund if X10 does not support the new files.

Re: Panasonic GH5 & VSP x10
Can you load your 10 bit sample to a file sharing site like Dropbox? We can then download it and test it at our end.
