Cant Install PSP X8 32 bit version
i was given PSP X8 as a gift last year .. running Win 10 Pro 64 bit .. not sure where my daughter purchased it from but the package came with 2 disks 1 with 64 bit version, the other 32 bit version however the Corel help files states when installing the 64 bit version there is an option to install the 32 bit version, this option did not appear .. not realizing my system supports 32 bit i went ahead and just installed the 64 bit .. but now i am finding i desperately need my plugins from my earlier PSP versions which are all 32 bit .. so i uninstalled the 64 bit and tried installing just the 32 bit version .. it wont install .. when the installer first starts, it does not display an install location so i have to point it to the program files (x84) folder when it gets to 33% complete it stops and displays an error message which just means the .Net framework need to be repaired which i did by downloading and running the tool .. but that still doesn't let me install the 32 bit version .. any suggestions on how i can get both versions installed on my system?

Re: Cant Install PSP X8 32 bit version
Hiya,
Did you use the cleanup tool to remove X8? If you use the uninstall option of both Corel or Windows, files are left that causes problems when trying to (re-)install your PSP version.
Furthermore, older plugins won't work with both versions installed.
You need to remove your 64-bit version with the cleanup tool for X8: http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=52337
Then install the stand-alone 32-bit version of X8.

Re: Cant Install PSP X8 32 bit version
You can have both 32 bit and 64 bit versions of PSP X8 installed .
You can only run either the 32 bit version or the 64 bit version of X8 at any one time on that computer.
The older 32 bit plug ins will run only with the 32 bit version of X8 running.
Some newer plugins are now compatible and will only run with the 64 bit version of X8 eg Particleshop

Re: Cant Install PSP X8 32 bit version
A slight clarification about hartpaul's statement.
It is correct that you can only run either the 32-bit or the 64-bit version of a single "X" version at a given time, i.e., you can't run both 32-bit X8 and 64-bit X8 simultaneously.
However, you can run both for different versions, and for a number of recent past editions there have not been substantial differences. I have 32-bit X8, 32-bit X9 and 64-bit X9 installed and I can run 32-bit X8 and 64-bit X9 simultaneously.
