Fresh install of PSP hangs when opening the Corel PDF Manual

Post by Luxi_Turna »

Does it do this for anyone else?

This is the manual: http://luxiturna.com/paintshop-pro-x9.pdf

Also, in the prev version of PSP, PDF files only imported as the first page. Does it do that for anyone else?

thanx,

No need for us to download Corel's PDF from a site that seems a link to your site, as we can get it directly from Corel.

The module that opens PDF as separate pages is only available in the 32bit version of PSP. A search for opening PDF would give you this link to the topic discussing the issue:

1) Yes, but who is going to go look for it just to see PSP fail? I provided it for convenience.

2) The link is to a file, not to my site.

3) I don't have a site. I have a domain name and hosting, but it's just a place to store grad school files where I know they won't disappear.

...but thank you for pointing out that my demonstration of a PSP bug was actually just spamming for my web site. I feel so chagrined.

The module that opens PDF as separate pages is only available in the 32bit version of PSP.

Yet another failure of this bug-infested photoshop knockoff, like reducing the scroll bars to unusable width so they'll be like Photoshop's. Or changing the zoom center so it's not the pointer location anymore. Or...

A search for opening PDF would give you this

Well, I guess not knowing the answer before I asked the question makes me a stupid person.

...Oops, no. If I were stupid, I'd be happy.

If you don't mind using scripts and installing extra libraries I did create a simple script that uses pyPdf to split multi-page PDFs into single page PDFs that PSP can open relatively easily.
