DVD Factory 4 crashes when going to burn.

Have been running DVD Factory 2 and upgraded via web download to MF4. System now totally unstable and refuses to burn the disk. All conversions take place, but when burning to disk, progress bar stops at 50% and machine locks solid. Must be switched off to unlock. removed and reinstalled the software, including all updates and patches, no difference. Downloaded the trial version of the software from the Web site, all works perfectly now. Reloaded MF4 upgrade, again, no luck and the program locks up the PC. Any ideas????? Waiting for an answer from tech support and still nothing. Has any one else had problems with the net download upgrades? Wondering whether the update file is corrupt as all works great with MF2 and MF4 TBYB trial.

have you installed the latest patch 4.02?

Try uninstalling Ulead Data-Add 2.0 in the Add/Remove programs. See if this can get your burning to continue.

I think the tech support mail is having some problems again. im also waiting for their reply but none so far. Normally they answer to me after 1-2 days. they posted something here about their mail server being down so it probably happened again.... just a thought...
