I have put together a TRAY in Manage. I wanted to move images from one tray to another, Whilst PSPCorelX8 is open they appear, however when I close CX8 and reopen all the images I had move to Tray2 from Tray1 have disappeared.
Q: Is it at all possible to move images between Trays?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Move Images Between "Trays"?
I presume you are in Manage mode and have the Organiser palette in view and can see the tabs for Tray1 and Tray2, You also have Computer chosen in The Navigation palette top left
You have images in Tray 1 and in Tray 2.
You left click and drag a thumbnail from Tray 1 to Tray 2 and you then find that same image is in both Tray 1 and Tray 2.
Close PSP X8 and then reopen it.
I find the images are still there in both my trays.
I have SP1 and SP2 installed on my X8 so the version number is 18.2.0.61
The thumbnail images also remain whether I use the 32 or 64 bit version.
If you are not getting that it sounds like your installation may be corrupted. You may need to reset to defaults, delete cache files and if that does not work you may need to reinstall.
Did it work before and has just started to misbehave or is this your first time working with trays.

Re: Move Images Between "Trays"?
Grazie, yes you can "move" images between trays.
- Create a new tray, say Tray-1
- click on the "from" tray, select images to move (one or many) and drag to the tab of Tray-1. Tray-1 opens with the dragged images there.
- But what you have in Tray-1 is a link to the original images. If you delete the originals they will disappear from Tray-1.
Images stay in a tray between sessions (still there after you close and reopen PSP) only if the originals are in Collections. If the source folder is only in Computer and not Collections they will disappear when you close PSP.
I like trays because I can place images from different folders into a tray, move them around for different sequences. It's a tool for making selections but you have to be aware of the limitations.
