vsx10 zip file

hello as i have said in another post when i run the exe file of VSX10 (from my order mail) i can't download completely all things(main program , standard content , standard content2 and bonus features).so a corel's technician send a zip file of VSX10.but when unzipping the folder i noticed that the sub folder of standard content 2 is missing.the technician told me that ''There is no standard content 2 during the installation, Just include all the thing listed during the installation.''.a friend of mine that he downloaded correctly and installed VSX10 ultimate told me that his folder include one more sub folder that technician's.and guest what?include a sub folder with standard content 2!.i attach two screenshots :1) from my friend folder and 2) the folder from corel's technician.note the diffrenece : in my friend's appears :1) 64 bit , 2) common , 3)VideoStudio_Install , 4)standard content 2
In technisians appears : 1) 64 bit , 2) common 3) VideosStudio_Install !!!also the installer of my firend is 10795 KB and from corel 10783 KB.Also when my friend run the installer appears 4 check boxes :1)main program ,2) standard content, 3)standard content 2 , 4) bonus features.
in the ''corel's'' installer appears the same boxes except standard content 2.so what goes wrong?the tecnhician is right or not?should i tell him to resend me a new zip file?is there another way to take a zip file of VSX10 ultimate?

Hi

Yes there may be a confusion regarding the Standard Content 2 file.
But I think it may be a problem on Corels server. I do not believe the SC2 is required.
However installing the program should run without problems.

If you run the VideoStudio_Install file it will launch the Web Installer.
First that checks your existing downloaded files against the server files, then prompts you to download the appropriate files. We can choose to download the Main Program only, if we wished.
Choose a new download folder and a new VideoStudio_Install file will also be created….

If you already have the current version folders, will allow you to install, unless already installed.
The final option is to Download Only and by deselecting “Do not Download Installed Modules Again” we can download all folders again.


But don’t worry about the SC2 folder
In the past I have installed with and without that folder and did not see any difference in the program.

so the standard content 2 is inlcuded-installed or not?i can't download vsx10 always stuck at 785 MB.this is the reason that tecnhician send a zip file.if you can help me lata at this link,i have post my ''main problem'' (http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=61278).and what can i do if there a corel's server problem?i am suffering a month ago

Hi Vasilis

Seems strange that the download stops at 785Mb each time.
Are you downloading to a laptop and if so is that pc set to Hibernate or Sleep, maybe that is interrupting the download. Please check those pc settings.

Please double click the Video Studio_install file.
That will open the Web Installer

I see a panel showing Checking for updates, then the Web Installer first page opens.
After navigating to the last window I can choose to download only the Main Program

I also choose a new download folder, and deselect “do not download installed modules again”
