mkv files and srt issues

1920x1080 but nothing created.mayby some mkv files has issues.can you saw me in my screenshot about wrod viewer? if you mean the icon in left of play button iw by default in project mode but the problem remain

here is a screen shot showing the timeline in clip playback, the clip on the overlay track being selected
The icon shows on the top clip using Smart proxy.

I do not know why one of your files do not create that proxy file.

lata i have two more questions:
1)for mkv files which are the properly project settings(DVD-mobile-AVCHD e.t.c)?
2)should i continue have smart proxy to ''enable mode '' before the next step?(i mean before i choose the share option for creating a movie).i ask because i create an MT2S file (with a proxy file created , but with no smart proxy enable after that ) and in tv the playback was with the jamming that i told you before
3)how can reset the default project settings?
4)with VSX7 i have no issues.always i convert MKV files to MP4 and the inserting in timeline was smoothly , without change any project settings or enable smart proxy or anything else..now when inserting an mp4 to timeline appears a message about if i want to change project settings to match with video settings(if i say correct).the VSX10 is very complicated.has a lot of issues....

Hi Vasilis

1 / I do not have any MKV video files so do not know if Show Messages works for those files, I would set my project Properties to my expected out put files, so if I intend to burn a disc then use AVCHD, if for the internet use Mpeg4

2 / Using Proxy files will allow you to play the MKV files on the timeline, if rendering the project causes problems, then remove / delete the proxy files before rendering the project.

3 / change project properties via Settings Project Properties, simply select another option.

4 / The message option in X10 is selected via preferences, for X7 that option has to be set by us, hence X10 will display the Show Messages window.

1)always i choose H.264 (avc 1920x1080 24 bits-24Mbps) option for better playback in TV.so which project option should i choose?
2)i mean before i choose a share option should i have enable smart proxy option or not?

I would choose settings simular to your mkv video, you can use archdeacon or mpeg4.......

As my previous reply, proxy files are used to help timeliness playback, so yes.......

Yes you are best setting project properties to match your video files properties........

also when i insert an mP4 file in timeline appears with an audio symbol (like the attachment).but when inserting an MKV file there is no such symbol.is that normal?or when inserting MKV file the export file it does not contain sound?
