AFTERSHOT PRO 3 TRIAL CANNOT READ .DNG FILES

Today, I downloaded a trial version of Corel's Aftershot Pro (especially with all that nagging within my copy of Corel's Aftershot 3 Standard). I had attempted to open .dng files within Aftershot 3 Standard. The software failed to open any of them, although my copy of Corel PSP 9 could. Odd this. Was not Aftershot designed specifically to open RAW files? It seems to be not the case. I felt perhaps the Standard version had not the capability of opening such files, so I trialed the Pro version of Aftershot 3. I attempted to just open these simple .dng files to no avail. It cannot see the files at all. PSP X9 saw and opened them without fail. Naturally, I will be removing Corel Aftershot Pro 3 from my computer with no intention of upgrading from my Standard copy. A shame. I have many Corel products since I have grown with Corel since I first began working in the printing industry. I scoffed at people who were using Adobe Illustrator whilst I used CorelDRAW. Am I defending Corel products to no avail if their RAW converter cannot even open RAW files?

Hello, did you ever resolve this problem? I have aftershot 3, and PSP x9. I just started getting into photo editing after doing a little computer upgrading. I can edit DNG files in PSP x9, but I can not open them in aftershot 3.

When looking at the camera list page I noticed windows 7 is not listed under DNG. Is that the problem? I still use win7 x64
