BCC Title Studio missing

Post by randy wright »

I just downloaded and installed VideoStudio X10 Ultimate. BCC Title Studio does not show up in the FX window, only Boris Graffiti 7. I checked the program files folder in Windows (8.1) and the BCC files are there. Thanks in advance.

Hi

You could try resetting the program by re-naming the 20.0 folder to “20.0_old”

C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Ulead Systems\Corel VideoStudio Pro (x64)\20.0

More info for earlier versions.

Hi
First have you installed the Bonus Features from
\64bit\BonusFeature
Double click the setup_Bonus.exe file.

From Video Studio FX library, the drop down menu shows a folder called Boris, that should contain the BCC filter.
It should also be available from the All list.

If you do not see that ---you could try manually installing the BCC.
The installation file is called
BorisTitleStudioForCorelX10.exe

Found here in your downloaded files \64bit\BonusFeature\PlugIns_X64

If manually installing does not show the BCC I would contact Corel Support, maybe it’s a Windows 8 issue?

Re-installing the bonus features didn't work, but manually installing BCC did. Thank you so much!

Hi guys!...Just registered for the forum.
I have the same problem with Boris not showing up in the FX menu.
I have New Blue, Boris FX and ProDAD files showing up in the menu but no BCC titler
I've found Corel support to be pretty much useless.
I did a search for BorisTitleStudioForCorelX10.exe but it does not seem to be on my hard drive.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Do you still have the installation folder on your desktop? It should be in there as described by lata above. Or you could just put the following in File Explorer: C:\Users\[YourName]\Desktop\VideoStudioX10_137\64bit\BonusFeature\PlugIns_X64 -- of course inserting your name where if have put [YourName]. See the attached image.

Thank you for the reply, The folder is still on my desktop and I did search search it but for some reason there is only the Graffiti file.
Strange that I seem to be the only one with this problem. Perhaps I should just reinstallImage

I have issues with BCC title studio too, it installed originally but when trying to use it all the preset windows were blank and the program didn't really seem to do anything. I uninstalled it and re-installed it and got the same result so I then tried uninstalling and re-installing videostudio and lost both the Boris plugins. Managed to install the programs as Ken suggested above but even though they showed in my programs list they didn't appear in videostudio. As a last ditch effort I decided to uninstall videostudio and all the asociated programs and folders to do a full clean install but now it won't let me install anything saying the serial number is incorrect or invalid. I put in a support request for the original issue a couple of days ago and got no response so I'm not sure who to contact.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Guys

First does the plugin show in Program and Features?
It is called BCC Title Studio 10 for Corel Video Studio X10 (for 64bit)
If it does not show we can manually install the program by double clicking the GraffitiCorelX10x86.exe for 32 bit
or
BorisTitleStudioForCorelX10.exe For 64 bit

The plugin should show in the FX library under “All” and also under “Boris”.
Does “Boris” exist in the dropdown ( Context) menu?

OK
Reset your program by re-naming the folder 20.0 to “20.0 Old”

For 64 bit versions…….
C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Roaming\Ulead Systems\Corel VideoStudio Pro (x64)\20.0

For 32 bit versions……
C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Ulead Systems\Corel VideoStudio Pro\20.0

Although we can rename both these folders with no problems.

Running X10 will create a new 20.0 folder

Does that help?

Hi Smogg

Yes those folders exist and hold the users files/templates but not the system files I was referring to,

You should find
For 32 bit versions……
C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Ulead Systems\Corel VideoStudio Pro\20.0

Rename the 20.0 folder to “20.0 old”

Launch Video Studio.

More details on resetting the program here
http://lata.me.uk/corel/reset/reset.htm

hq308

Did you reset the program by renaming the file 20.0
For 64 bit versions…….
C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Roaming\Ulead Systems\Corel VideoStudio Pro (x64)\20.0
