ON1 Effects

Post by leahcimi »

I find the free ON1 Effects quite useful but they would be even more so if I could run them from within PSP - they are not plugin!
Has anyone managed this, if so, how please?

It's 64-bit only.
It's best to install both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of PSP, since some plugins are only 32-bit (KPT) and others are only 64-bit (newer ON1). Both PSP versions will run in 64-bit Windows.

I used to install only the 32-bit version because I was running 32-bit Windows, but more and more programs nowadays can only run in 64-bit Windows and many of the latest PSP/Photoshop add-ins are only being put out in 64-bit. (And I wanted to be able to run MS's Ubuntu Linux under Windows, which is only available for 64-bit.)

How did you install it as a plugin - there are no .8bf files in its folder.

Don't think you can. ON1 Effects installs as an Adobe Extension.

I believe he means that the link to the script, which link is on the page to which your link takes us, no longer works.

Yes, that's right. The link inside the thread - not the link TO the thread.

I'm wondering if you were to PM to the person who posted that link you might get a reply with info about where to access the script??
