I am currently using PSP X6Ultimate. I want to download X9Ultimate, but I have a few questions first:
I rely very heavily on the KPT filters that came with X6Ultimate. And it looks like X9 Ultimate does not include those.
I looked through the Corel site for a KPT plug-in but couldn't find it. Does anybody know if the KPT filters will work
with X9Ultimate, and if so, where is the link on the Corel site for this plug-in?
(I believe that X9Ultimate comes with both 32-bit and 64-bit.)
If I download X9Ultimate, will it automatically override (delete) my X6?
Thanks ahead of time.

Re: KPT filter plug-in for X9 Ultimate?
PSP never deletes previous versions. It always installs right next to old ones. I myself have XI, X7, X8, and X9 installed on one computer.
The KPT plugins are 32-bit only. So if you install X9 make sure to install both 32-bit and 64-bit.
PSPX9 does let you download the KPT plugins. When inside PSP you'll go to Help -> Download More Content. There you will see the KPT collection, the PSP Scripting Guide, and the Creative Content downloads that come with very version of PSP ultimate or regular.

It should also be pointed out that if you have say 5 different versions of PSP installed, you could also have 5 copies of KPT plugins installed as well.
ie you would download:
Corel_KPT.exe for X6
PSPX7_Corel_KPT.exe for X7
PSPX9_Corel_KPT.exe for X9 etc.
Each is the same version of KPT , but set up to install in a particular version.
OR you could install KPT filters once say in X6 and then point any other versions of PSP to that plugin folder .
This would require you to keep X6 installed however as if you removed it then the pointers from other PSP versions would then lack a target.

Or simple keep KPT in its original folder in the Programs folder and point every version to that one folder.

Thank you all for being so helpful. I decided to go ahead and update to X9, but now am having an issue
regarding an invalid serial number message preventing me from downloading it. I'm trying to clear it up
with a Corel tech or I would have answered sooner. Thanks again!

Re: KPT filter plug-in for X9 Ultimate?
Just to clarify a bit about plugins and multiple PSP versions.
I have a separate folder (actually on a different drive) where I put all my plugins. The same for scripts, brushes, etc.
You need the specific PSP version installed to install that plugin (or the Creative Content extras). For instance, to install Perfectly Clear for X6 you need X6 installed. But once the plugin is installed, you can simply copy it to any other version's plugins folder. Then even if you delete the original PSP version, it will still work for the other version.
You can instead use junctions to point to a "common" folder such as my plugins folder. A junction is sort of like a Windows shortcut. The difference is that a junction is transparent to programs. In other words, if you replace your \Plugins folder with junction named Plugins that points to D:\Corel_Stuff\PSP\Plugins, PSP will think it is accessing \Plugins, not the junction target folder on a different drive.
So once you install a PSP version, move the plugins, etc., to the "common" folder, and add a junction.
A couple of tips:

A couple of tips:
- Instead of deleting the original folder, rename it by adding a minus sign, i.e., \Plugins gets renamed to \-Plugins. That way you won't forget there's a junction.
- Once you've created the junction to the target, copy the files there, make sure everything still works, then delete the originals in the "minus" folder. They're just taking up space, since nothing is set to actually access the "minus" folder.
- You can have multiple junctions pointing to the same target folder.
- You can mix 32-bit and 64-bit plugins in the target folder. PSP simply won't load and won't show versions it can't run. So X9 64-bit won't show KPT and 32-bit won't show ON1 Effects Free 10.
