Purchased hundreds of dollars of istock videos but they won't import into vidoestudio x10.
How do I convert or import these vids?

Do you get an error message? Can you see an extension on the files as the appear in File Explorer, or do you have any software which will tell you the format of the clips?

Error msg is "unable to open file....file format mismatch 16803:1:2"
Ext is .mov.
Appears to be a quicktime? ie mac format.
IStock finally got back to me 3 days later (as seems to be normal on every online support system including corel....one day, someone will offer REAL support...I wish)
They say they aware of the problem & I have to convert it.
(disclaimer might have been nice before the purchasing.....)
So anyone using converters for 4k & if so....what?

Do you have the .mov codec on your computer? There is a lot of discussion about possible dangers from installing the whole Quicktime package (which includes the QT viewer and other tools) but installing only the codec should pose no danger.

Would rather have just a converter for obvious reasons. Anyone using anything for 4k that they can confirm doesn't lose quality?
