Multicam problem ! Need help......
Hello everyone !
I'm encountering an issue in multi-cam Corel Videostudio, i'm working with 1080p MTS format video code,
The program freezes everytime i put in videos that duration over around an hour, the mouse cursor seem act normally, but wherever i click the program does not respond/dumb, I suppose it is not responding.
The issue started since i was updated to version X9.5 (the x9 no such problem at all, i can add anyvideos that extend to 4,5 or 6 hours with many clips without problem) and today after i installed new version X10, the problem still persists.
Any help will be appreciated, many thanks
(sorry for my bad English )

Re: Multicam problem ! Need help......
It's going to be hard to help you with those very large video files. Most of us try to keep video clips shorter and assemble them together into our video stories. I recommend you change to do that in the future. For now, if you give more details on the video files and project settings someone might offer some ideas to figure out what the problem is: give size of files, bitrates, resolution, format. When they work earlier in X9, did VS work well with those files?
User for more than 10 years.

Most of my multicam project are stage activities and noway to shorter the clips (at least 2 hours long) , before that (X9.5) the projects i handle no such problem in versIon X9 (patch 1 till patch 3) after updated patch 4 - X9.5 with multicam new interface, suddenly the problem exist.
I have tried installed to another system (another drive) but unfortunately the problem still persist.
I think there are a lot more user working on the same kind of my project, just wonder if no one encounter such problem like me ?
More details about my problem :
- The problem occurred when i input the video files just into ONE cam timeline !
- My video files are from Sony A65 that got 30 min time limit recording, so normally in 30 min recording its split into 2 files ( 17 & 13 min )
- Just finished the 5+ hours project (4 cam) with version X9 (patch 3) without problem
- Have tried with two version Windows system ( Windows 1607 & 1511 )
- Project setting i have tried : Mp4 1920X1080 50i & avchd 1920X1080 50i
- Smart proxy on and off ; every setting in preference setting : performance tab
- My video file's detailed properties : (capture pic)

Have been using Corel videostudio since Ulead system days, now the problem make me feel a bit disappointed and helpless, maybe some one here can enlighten me and give me some instruction ?
Great thanks for your time.
Best regards, Chaofei

Re: Multicam problem ! Need help......
I'm able to load 7 mts HD clips total of 4:20 hours. with no apparent VS halt (at current test).
Do you have proxy files on? (I don't.) it takes time to make them you know.

Hi Chaofei
Update
Corel have identified the problem as CVSX9.5 only
earlier version X9.3 and X10 work ok.
Hopefully a fix will be available soon.
