help with image

Hi all ive got an image and I need to be able to select parts of it to copy and paste within corel x8 but im unable to do so it only selects say part of a face and parts of another figures body (very strange).
Ive converted the image to a vector image so it doesn't lose quality.
any help would be appreciated

We would probably need you to post the image somewhere for people to download and inspect before a good solution might be found. Also, we would need much more detail of all of the steps you take to make your selections, perhaps including a screenshot of your workspace so that we can see all of the settings.

Converted to a vector? Are you using CorelDrawn and PhotoPaint? If so, they have their own dedicated forums.
