What is the best format to use MotionStudio 3D on VS X10?
Can anyone enlighten me which is the best format to export a title from MotionStudio 3D for a project on Corel VSX10 ? Should I be saving as a ".c3d", or export 3D ovelay avi, or any other way??

A c3d file is simply the project file and is created by using "Save As" or "Save". It contains not video etc. and cannot be used by VS. You have to export to avi or whatever video format that MS3d can create

In fact when MS3D first arrived, its c3d files were meant to be able to be read by VS -- though that would have been about the time of VS X4. I remember in fact doing so but was never satisfied with the quality of the result. So I quickly switched to exporting from MS3D as a completed AVI, and that always worked well, with very high quality. The only trouble, though, is that the AVI is uncompressed and large: a 10 second title would be around 1 GB in size. But if you have lots of hard drive space, that's not a major concern. Most of my projects in any case are done and stored on an external 1.5 TB USB drive which is not used for anything else.
