VSX10 installing problem on Win10

I think I need a lay down, confused….
I thought you had already installed the program and was having problems running the program

By install the Main program on your pc may be named “Programma Principle”

First go to your pc start menu do you see Corel Video Studio X10 listed?
If yes try running the program.
If not installed or does not run…..

Uninstall Video Studio.
Download and run the Cleanup Tool from Brians post here:-

Ok
First are you able to download your file again from Corel, you should get the Web Installer.
For me it is called “VideoStudio_Install.exe” ( 10,795Kb)
Your version seems to be called “VideoStudioX10.exe” ( I assume the same size)

Run the Web Installer
Input your Serial Number
Select only “Programma Principle”
Deselect “ Do Not Download Installed” ( Non scaricare di nuovo…..)
Choose a new Save folder ( Cerca)
Select Solo Download

That will download the main / Principle program.

The web installer may close, run the installer again and try installing the “Programma Principle”

again only select “Programma Principle”

I don't know who is the author of this absurde procedure of videoStudioX10, but I think that screen image would be clear to solve the problem.
I suggest to dismiss the author of setup program because it is not able to manage the project.
I prefer to continue with videostudio X8.5 ultimate.

I found another way to install the main program from another pc plus manual installation of Bonus and Standard package.
I have only a problem ... I cannot activate automatic music icon.
As I told before, I prefer to continue with previous version videostudio X8.5 ultimate.

If by this you mean Triple Scoop Music, that is a known bug and Corel just released Service Pack 1 for X10 which fixes this and other problems.

rlacen i have the same problem the downloading of VSX 10 ultimate always stuck at 785 mb.can you help me?

Can you try downloading the main file only to see if that works ok

First choose a new folder for your download files.
Then deselect the other options as my image below

Choose Download only

If the process pauses at 785 Mb please be patient and give the download more time.

My VSX10 (and other Corel products) problem - broken installer, fixed to install whole win10 again.
After that, first programs what I installed was Corel softwares.
My problem was most likely old Dreamweaver Studio web editor wich using XLM files as default file extensions.
Now I install Dreamweaver Studio (no offical win7/win10 support) to other "secondary PC" and main PC works ok

I'm having exactly the same problem.. just about had it with Corel, been fighting with this thing since last Sunday..
Tech support hasn't helped either..
I ran the CleanUp tool plus the other mentions about name and left over files in C:Users..

I don't understand why I tried it on my laptop and the GUI & download worked perfectly, so I transferred everything over to my main pc but the installer still didn't work and gave me the same blank results..

I have always thought that we have to use the Web Installer file to install the program, at least for the Main program.
Can you try running the install manually from your download files in this folder
\64bit\Ultimate\Setup.exe

Double clicking the Setup.exe should start the installation process.

I do not know what else to suggest, clearly the download files are ok as installing on your laptop worked, so what’s the difference in the two pc’s????

You transferred everything over, how? Did you use an EHD, copying the whole VideoStudio X10 folder, then running the install from the EHD, or copying that to your main pc before attempting to install? I'm not savvy on current OSs, but I wonder if the installer program looks for a file that might be installed/dropped somewhere else on the system. It would be a clever way to help deter piracy. It could also check the identity of the PC the files were downloaded to against the one your now trying to install to. I have a couple of other "cloud based subscription" programs, it can detect if you're trying to run it on different pcs, and will prompt you to disable one, or might flat out disable it for you. If you've heard of On1 RAW, if you want to uninstall it, you must first disable it, it will not allow you to uninstall it until you've disabled it. Then to install on another PC, you have enable it on that one. These companies are using all kinds of ways to curb piracy. Anyway just like I stated thinking outloud, hopefully it might trigger some additional thought to help.

I am a little confused as to whether you have managed to install CVSX10
This post seems to indicate you are using X10

If you have purchased Cvsx10 and have not managed to download your program then you should contact Corel Support
They may be able to give you a direct download link rather than using the Web Installer.
