failed to record data to the disc
my dvd starts to burn and gets to 7%, then an error says "failed to recor data to the disc" i have ulead movie maker 2. i got the patch for it. i have an nu burnner.

Some possible reasons:
1. Disc media is not compatible with your burner. You can check http://www.videohelp.com/dvdwriters to know what media is compatible and go to NU Tech web site to download the latest firmware of the burner to improve the compatibility. You can also go to http://www.nu-global.com/1_english/3_pr ... ID=1&cID=5 to know the media support list of your burner.
2. Disc media is dirty or not usable.
3. Burner is not compatible with Ulead DVD Burning Engine. However, as I know Ulead DVD Burning Engine is being tested OK with NU Tech DDW-041 and DDW-061.
