When you open VideoStudio Ultimate X10, there are a huge library of Newblue Filters and Transitions for those who wish to buy. Funny though, if you have these same old Newblue Fx from earlier versions of VideoStudio they won't work on X10.

Ken, I have the 64 bits of Newblue ArtEffects but I can't install it. But Corel has it for selling when you launch X10.

Do you still have an earlier version of VS 64 bit installed on your computer, if so, try copying the Art Effects package to VSX10, you can find the New Effects located in C:Program Files\Corel\CorelVideoStudio (version No you have)\vft_plug, highlight the required filters and copy to same location in VSX10.
If that does not work you should contact New Blue and request an updated installer.

Robert -- did it require a licence/SN when you tried to use it? Or did you have a previous licence for it? I don't recall the NB Art Effects ever coming with any version of VS, but I could be mistaken...

But anyway, when I installed from that link, I immediately got a dialogue box asking for a serial number. Otherwise it is just a 14 day trial. And of course I don't have a serial number...

Hi Ken, no I do not have a serial No, just downloaded and installed the trial, on the basis that if the trial works then it should still work when fully activated with a serial No, the trial appears to function as it should.
It's possible that the link I provided includes an updated installer, when I was installing it gave the option to install into VSX8,9 & 10 as well as all the other NLEs that it can be installed to

Yes, you would need to purchase a license, the Corel price is about half of what New Blue charged for it when it was available

All the New Blue packages I own, have been copied from version to version for years and they always work, did have to wait a long time for New blue to provide 64 bit packages for Corel

I would guess that anything you actually bought from them should work (or at least be updated) when you install a new version of VS, but stuff that came as freebies with older versions of VS might not work with current versions. Usually for stuff like that the license to use the add-ons would be associated with the bundle it came with, and not be transferrable to other software.

At last, I had my issue resolved and my VS X10 is running smoothly as it should. Thank you guys for all the good piece of advice.
