I have this problem too. Paint Shop Pro X2 installed on Windows 10. It was working fine for months. Now it has stopped working and it won't uninstall, it won't repair, it won't reinstall. Is there a cleanup tool for X2? I can't seem to find one.

I would gladly upgrade to X9. In fact I did, but it just keeps crashing and is useless.

Any help is appreciated.

Corel webchat!

If you have X9 you effectively have "a warranty". Corel would be the best ones to help.

Thanks. Tried this but it didn't help. After running this uninstaller, then trying to re-install X2 I get an error message that says that a previous installation is in progress then it just freezes.

I am officially pulling my old XP computer out of retirement because it is the only thing that Corel is compatible with.

Technically, X2 only lists Vista as the supported OS.

I reckon this is becoming a significant issue if people are managing to part install unsupported software. It always used to be that if something wouldn't run, it often wouldn't install (it would check before it tried).

Another option to try is this:

I haven't got a system to play with, but I can't believe it isn't possible to get these dead programs off the thing.

We finally removed PSP X from our laptop by deleting 200+ files in the registry. Nothing else we tried worked. Thank you for your efforts in trying to help me. PJF
