Video Studio X10 trial, player black screen

So I've been testing out the trial of video studio pro X10 and I've encountered a rather frustrating problem. I'm trying to do precise cuts of clips but the video player, goes black, as I go back a few frames, making me unable to tell where exactly I need to make a cut. Is this an issue with Video studio X10, will it be fixed. I did try to post the properties of the clip but for some reason it wouldn't let me copy and past.

I have X10 Ultimate Trial, and have no problem with this, and as far as I am aware Ultimate is just Pro with extras - so there should be no difference in such thinsg!

Win10 and automatic updates haven't been wonderful for a lot of people. If you have nVidia, install the latest drivers from their website. Totally remove the old drivers. If Intel integrated, update it from Intel.

I just want to know how to download the trial of video studio pro X10?
I can only download the trial of video studio Ultimate X10!!!

Yes the trial is the Pro version, maybe Corel have the wording incorrect in referring to Ultimate during installation?
But the Splash Screen image is a different colour being Blue?
