Hi all,
When I click the output button a window comes up saying that my working folder doesn't have enough space and that it iwll help me clean the file cache. Then it says "Start cleaning file cache?" And then I hit ok and nothing happens. Under required/Avalible working space it does say 7.6/6.2. How can I solve this problem?
Thanks

You need to change the "Project Properties" to render at a lower bit-rate.
You do that using the "GEAR" icon and change "MPEG" settings.
But, when MF3/4 re-renders videos it makes new videos on the harddisk.
Then it also needs enough harddisk space to create a temporary dvd structure to burn a dvd.
That would be :
New rendered material = 4.30 gig
Temporary Dvd structure = 4.30 gig
Temporary disk space = 1 gig
Minimum size would be approx = 9.60
Change the "Working Folder" to another harddisk formatted as NTFS under "Preferences".
Maybe running the program in XP "Disk Cleanup" will get rid of un-necessary temporary files on the harddisk.

clean-up drive
Yeah! That's right! Also, try uninstalling programs you won't use like games(consumes large disk space), delete some media files such as mp3 or videos or you can back them up using DVD medias or CDs. It is recommended to have a separate drive for working folders wherein you will save your captures. ^_^
