Templates in X9

Post by JudyM »

Apologies if this topic has been covered.
Does anyone know how I can save a template in X9 so it will show up as an option in new image > "from Template" ?
I can't find where the files for these templates which come with X9 are installed either :)

No, you can't. The Templates are saved to a downloads folder and are specifically placed into folders referenced by a file Corel downloads and updates from the Corel web store. So, unlike the normal resources where you just put it into a folder and it shows up, these ones are special to Corel's Store.

The easiest option, would be to create a templates collection in Manage Mode. That way you can access them with the Organizer at any time. When you open the template just use SHIFT + D to make a new copy of the file. Not as smooth or fancy as the From Template option, but it is essentially the same.
