Re: Reset saving project option
what default saving options - "Project >> Save" saves your project exactly as it is in the timeline - which may be different for every project
what defaults do you want -- please explain

Re: Reset saving project option
Hi
I think Vasilis is referring to File Save – or Save As where the save location always uses the Projects folder when first saving the project.
You would think that the last save location could be used for new projects, or target the working folder.
For existing saved projects the save location does choose the correct folder.

Re: Reset saving project option
Hi lata. Question related to your comment about "default" path for .vsp files. I can longer find any way to change that default path to a path of my own choosing. Before I updated to SP4, yesterday, I could. I can't find option to do that now. Maybe I'm merely overlooking the obvious.lata wrote:Hi

Re: Reset saving project option
Hi
I do not think SP 4 has changed the save options.
For a new unsaved project when doing “File Save or Save As” the default My Projects folder will be selected first………..
We can now select another folder to save our project, we do not have to use the My Projects folder.
For an existing saved project, doing “File Save As” will open the folder containing the project file and that could be on a different drive, wherever we saved the original project file.
The “Save As” command allows us to change the name or save location.

Re: Reset saving project option
Hi
The first time we try to save our project the program will use the default folder My Projects.
I do not know of a way of changing that via video studio, maybe a way through windows systems? But I do not know how!
