VS 19.6.0.1 64 bit Ultimate service pack 4
I had a project completed. I Shared to MPEG-4. I then spent some time attempting to import the audio into Adobe Audition finally successfully from the MPEG-4 file. Now the .VSP project in VS appears in tact but the Project Play button reverts to Pause almost immediately no matter where on the timeline I start it. However each clip does play (but no audio). Any suggestions on how to get the project to play again?

A guess is that the decoder for your project format is busy with another program? Try restarting the pc to see if it starts working again.

Thanks Aljimenez. You may be on the right track but a restart of the pc and run just VS did not fix the problem.
Some clips in the time line played and others didn't actually. Also the same occurred out of the library until no clip would play I.e play button reverts back to pause before playing starts. I have to investigate further.
