A while ago, I already put this in discussion.
The DVDs that I create with MF4 are not readable on my PC's
They are readable on any DVD players(it stops sometimes)
and also readable on Mac laptops.
Cant find what is the problem.
Now happend a curious thing:
Writing DVD on a DVD-R: not recognized by PC's
Writing DVD ona DVD-RW: everything works fine with all PC's and players. (!?!)
I noticed that writing DVD on MF4 can go to more than 2 hours,
but writing on MF3 goes hardly to more than 1 hour.
Can someone out there give me an explanation to those phenomenas?
Thanks.

Can you supply the name & model of your dvd burner and make/type/speed of the dvd media your using.
This sounds more like a compatibility problem or your burner. If the dvd's play in the desktop player that is a good sign.
You say your computer doesn't recognize the dvd. Do you mean it doesn't auto-launch by itself? What is the software player in the computer you are using to playback the dvd?
If you open up "My Computer" and right-click on the drive and select "Open" do you see the folders on the dvd?
Should be VIDEO_TS etc. Can you navigate in it?
You said dvd's. What type of dvd? DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW or DVD-RAM. They are all different and have different formats.
As far as taking longer are you using the exact same source material or
just in the burning stages. Is your previous version of MF using dolby audio.
Maybe this version is also converting the audio to dolby when the previous version wasn't re-encoding the audio part.
MF4 is open and runs on top of the windows interface. You can take video files direct from the windows explorer and drop them into the time-line. You don't have to use the "Open" video files dialog box that is in the MF interface.
