The SP downloads, but then says Videostudio is running and cannot install, even after I close it. One would think that they would program the update to close VS itself, and continue. But that's not the case.
Any suggestions on how to get this to install?

I finally got it installed. It finally recognized that VS9 was closed after the 4th attempt.

For some people Corel programs such as Video Studio and PaintShop Pro continue to operate for a while even when the app is supposedly closed. To close it completely in such cases you need to open Task Manager in Windows. You will see that VS is not listed under Apps, but if you look down the Background Processes list it will still be there. Left click it and choose End Task.

Thanks, Ken. I actually tried that and didn't see it. But maybe I just didn't recognize the services in the list.
