FOR GOD SAKE REMOVE THIS ANNOYING FEATURE IN VIDEOSTUDIO

Ok I have had enough, when I am editing a movie and I play it, WHY THE FRIGGEN HELL IT PLAYS THE CLIP AND I HAVE TO CLICK ON PROJECT TO PLAY THE WHOLE THING INSTEAD OF THE CLIP, AND THEN I EDIT AND THEN PLAY AGAIN AGAIN IT PLAYS THE CLIP INSTEAD OF THE PROJECT AND I SCREAM REAL LOUD SWEAR AND SAY STOP THIS OR ILL KILL YOU! OK WHY WOULD ANYONE JUST PLAY THE CLIP? YOU WANT TO PLAY THE PROJECT OFFCOURSE ALLWAYS AND HEAR THE SOUND YOU RETARD!!!

PLEASE GET IT OUT, AND KEEP THIS PROGRAM THE BEST THERE IS.

One click of the mouse gets you so annoyed, wow…………

When I edit my clips, especially when removing frames /trimming I want to play in clip mode, so any auto swap to project mode would not work, it has to be a manual choice.

If I want to play the project I would first place my curser to the position I wish to play from, by clicking the timeline rule will do that and select project playback mode.

Pleased you had chance to air your views over such a trivial matter - but I should perhaps mention that no-one here - not the admins - moderators or members are Corel employees and have no special contact with or can influence Corel in the change of what has been a feature of the programme almost since the day it was launched some 20 years ago.

We are all users working together to try and resolve other users problems - and I suppose if you feel better now we have achieved one of our objectives

but have you tried just clicking in the timecode just above the timeline at the point you want to play the project from - moves the cursor to that point and changes to 'project'

VS has it's merits but it's mediocre and full of annoyances/bugs as a truckers motel.
