Can overlays be anchored to vidoe in the main timeline (VS8)

Hi

I've noticed that when you put anything in the overlay (be that pictures or video) it all becomes out of sync with the main timeline if you insert anything into the begining of your project. Is there a way of anchoring it to the vidoe in the main timeline so that it will move along to the correct place if you insert anything into the begining of the main time line?

Not that I know of. UVS 9 adds "Ripple Editing" that does what you want to do.
