I've been using x6 for a long time and just took advantage of a sale to get x9. I checked the minimum requirements for resolution before I purchased this newer program and I thought I was okay, but when I try to install the program it stops and I get this message: "The current display resolution is lower than the standard of the installation. Please increase the resolution and try again."
My resolution is set at 1600x900, 32-bit True Color.
I tried dropping resolution to 1366 x 768 resolution recommended "with 24-bit or higher color display" per the minimum requirements. I got the same error message when I tried to install.
I have Direct X11
I can change resolution from 32-bit True Color to 16-bit High Color--would doing this help? UPDATE: I TRIED CHANGING IT TO THIS AND GOT THE SAME ERROR MESSAGE.
I'm on Windows 7 64 bit.
x9 installation stopped due to resolution problem
