I created my video files in Adobe Premiere Pro CC in Uncompressed AVI. Since it was a multicam shoot I am now trying to use Video Studio X9 to do the multicam edit. Before I formatted my computer I was able to do this and now I am not. Video Studio gives me the message "The content of these files are unreadable". I am able to watch the videos in VLC player and in Premiere Pro CC. I used the program called gspot to tell me specifically what codec is being used. it said the following
Optibase VideoPump 10-bit 4:2:2 Component Y'CbCr
openDML AVI
Where can I get these codecs.

Re: Cant edit AVI file
Hi, why you choose that codec then? when ever I needed uncompressed AVI I exported as RGB. anything else is compressed.
and VS reads RGB avi's.

Re: Cant edit AVI file
I chose it bc it worked before I formatted my computer. All I did was choose Premiere Pro's Uncompressed AVI. I didnt choose that specific form of AVI because there was only 1 to choose from.

Re: Cant edit AVI file
I had to install Desktop Video from blackmagicdesign to get it to work bc thats the codec Premiere Pro CC uses as uncompressed AVI
