Capturing video from iphone 6s in VSX8

Post by zehavi »

Hello,
My video clips in my iphone are in the format of Quick Time Movie.
It looks that the VS doesn't recognize this format (I get an error message).
I have tried to insert a MP4 file from other smartphone and again the VS didn't recognize it.
To solve this problem I am using a converter to convert the clips to mpeg2 which is not an HD format.
Is there a better way to do it?
Thank you,
Abraham

Do you have QuickTime installed, without it VS will not recognize your video, all you need is QuickTime Essentials, there is no need to install any of the other components

and mp4 files are accepted - but how are you 'inserting' them into Videostudio - can you copy one to your hard drive - then tell us what it's properties are as reported by Windows

After upgrading my QuickTime to the current version 7.7.9, I still have the same error message:
Here is the message:
screen2.jpg
Unfortunately I didn't understand well the message.
Could it be that The VS program needs only the QT 64 bits?
My QT is 32 bits and I didn't find QT 64 bits for my windows 7
