Loss of text font in VideoStudio X6 Ultimate

Post by rafergonz »

I have recently updated Corel VideoStudio X6 Ultimate to Corel VideoStudio X8 Ultimate and in the change I have seen that I have lost some text fonts. In VideoStudio X6 Ultimate was using the Instant Project Complete named IP-C11 that relates the file 22_Fun 03.bmp with 22_Fun 03.wvs. When updating to X8 Ultimate and deleting X6, the text font that appears in IP-C11 is no longer the same as the one displayed when working with X6: it is now using Tahoma as a substitute for the previous one. Could someone tell me what the original text source of this Instant Project Complete IP-C11 VideoStudio X6 is called and if it can be found without having to reinstall the program?
I kept the VideoStudio X6 Instant Project Complete IP-C11 because I imported it when installing the X8, but it did not retain the original text source, which was lost when the X6 was uninstalled. I asked Corel's Knowledge Base for the name of the missing font and they simply told me that I could not use the VideoStudio X6 text fonts, but they did not tell me the name of the font I was requesting. It seems that you are purchasing the application but you can not use the text fonts it incorporates. I do not know how to understand this, but they do not solve anything.
I'm hoping for some help because I have work in progress that used this text font and if I do not find it, I'll have to start over. Thank you

Videostudio does not actually "incorporate" the text fonts - but simply calls up fonts from the standard Windows "Fonts" folder on each computer here - C:\Windows\Fonts

It appears that Instant project IP-C11 uses a font called "Tiranti Solid L£T " which if you used it before on your computer *should* be in that Fonts folder - it should have remained there when you un-installed X6 - I do not understand why it is not still available to you -- can you not see it in the font selection when typing the text

if you do not have it then you need to then search for - download and install that font to restore it within Videostudio

EDIT - - I see now that asik has supplied you with that font in his attachment in his post above

If you cannot find that particular font any where you do not need to "start over" again - only re-do the text in what you have done

according to my computer the font looks like this - is that what you expected ?

I greatly appreciate your help. You have got me out of a big problem, that of restarting jobs that use this text font.
I do not know if VideoStudio X6 installed its own fonts (I think so), but what I do know is that when uninstalling the application, that font and others more disappeared.
So, I repeat, thank you very much for your cooperation and excuse my English: it is the translator of Google.
