Hello everyone, im new at video editing and im starting to learn and have watched some tutorials but i couldnt find what i wanted (if you know some tuts of what im asking please show me).
what i want to do is basically a remix video, im having problems having multi loops, i started with a random video just to try it and trimed in 2 parts so i could learn and advance for something bigger but the problem is that when i put them in loop it finish the 2 clips(like its 1) and then it loops, and i wanted a constant loop in clip 1 and clip 2, 2 diferent loops constanlty playing. i tried in multi cam too but could get to the problem, well another question is multi cam, if i want this loops to play and show for example the 4 clips video on the main video(screen) i need to use milti cam right? so it appears in cam1(clip1) cam2(clip2) cam3(clip3) (all looping) or can i just do that without multi cam adding overlay tracks?(if possible).
im sorry its hard to explain because im a begginer, but you will see what i really want if you check youtube and search for: "why is the rum gone" (this is the remix type what i wanted to try) or the "their taking the hobbits to isengard". i wont put the links because i dont know if im allowed to do it.
thank you for your time! have a nice day!

if you want to show us an example on Youtube then please post a link - no need for any special tags just copy the URL of the video and paste it in your next post
If you want a number of things to happen at the same time then you must put them in the timeline in a vertical (one above the other) configuration rather than in a horizontal (one after the other) configuration
notice that when playing the timeline cursor (marker) moves from left to right and whatever is under the cursor shows onscreen --to do that you need to add some additional overlay tracks by using the track manager
from what you have said I do not think you need to use the MCE feature - that is more for synchronising multiple videos of the same event as might be used at a concert for instance
If I understand you correctly this demo is NOT exactly what you want to do - but may show the sort of thing that can be done - - -

Narayami, first thing you need to understand, in VS you cant "loop" , there isn't such function.
If you want a video clip to play&play&play&play .... you need to duplicate it on the timeline/overlay track and have as many instances of it as you need it to "loop'.

exactly! that demo explains exactly how i want the video to show! but what i wanted is add the sound and repeat each sound, i guess it is like you said, i need to put them in vertical in the timeline.
ill give you the link from youtube so you can see what im trying to explain.

as you see, it shows various clips like you show me in the demo but with the sound repeating like a loop, thats what i wanted to do.
here is another example, but this one is a bit diferent:

this last one seems easier, probably i just need to cut parts of a video and put it in the timelime.
thank you for your time!!!

Given that your video will have a finite length - as opposed to one in a shop window or something which loops all day - then yes the best option I would suggest is just to repeat the clip along the timeline - each clip being on a different track -- sound (if not part of thee video clip ) goes in one of the audio tracks - but if it is part of the video it will just repeat with the video
you can have up to 20 overlay tracks and can adjust the size of each image in the screen independently of the others
