Samples
Hi, I understand that you can ignore samples by adding a new folder but the problem I have is that the numerous samples (seem to be more than previous) appear to cause undue delay in opening X9. Is there a way of speeding this up?..thanks John

Re: Samples
Hi john
Are you referring to the time it takes to launch the program or the time to open the library pages once the program has started.
The first time we launch the program did take a long while, especially with the Muserk, TSM samples.
I think Corel have changed that so those load when selecting the library, even so do take a while.
The program will launch to use the last library page showing when the program was closed.
My program launches in under 20 seconds, the first attempt may be a little longer.
So how long does it take for you.

Re: Samples
Hi, Just back from holidays. Thanks for your response. Launch time is about 40 seconds which includes sample files plus the last imported media I used. I was wondering if there was a way of loading a blank project that does not include sample files or previous imported media.?

We understand that you live on the fast track hence every second count.
but there isn't any user friendly way to launch VS in 5 sec.
VS can't tell if you launch it to start fresh or you continue a project.

Re: Samples
I always launch the program by clicking the Video Studio icon on my desktop / start menu etc.John_Coluccio wrote:Hi, Just back from holidays. Thanks for your response. That will open the program using a new empty project.
to open an existing project I use the File menu for open project.
To the bottom of the file menu are 4 recently saved projects, as such a quick launch.
