Does X9.5 still need Quicktime?
Do people load the QT Player, or just the QT Essentials. I don't need the Player, but the Essentials says it's for 3rd party apps.

Re: X9.5 Quicktime
I do not have QT installed and what I edit works just fine with VS
I DO have VLC player installed, so that MAY take the place of needing the QT essentials

Re: X9.5 Quicktime
If you intend to edit MOV clips or render to MOV you will need QuickTime Essentials installed

Re: X9.5 Quicktime
In Custom Install you can pick the Player, or Essential, or both, and since I have the crazy powerful PotPlayer - is there anything it can't do -, I don't need the player.
