I was using X9 this morning, and went to use a gradient safed as red-eye.pspgradient in My PSP Files.
The problem is that it is showing up with incorrect colors.
The correct colors are a cream and red. I do not know how to input an example?
Thanks

The only thing I can think of, is, you didn't actually create and save the new gradient.

Re: Gradient in X9 not correct colors
In addition to creating gradients with specific colours you can also create them that use whatever the current foreground or background colour are.

Re: Gradient in X9 not correct colors
Hi there,
I did not create the gradient, I saved it. I have deleted it and re-saved, and it still will not show correctly.
Now whenever I go to use a gradient, it displays the "sick" version of the one that I do not want.
Is there a way to clear a "cache" or something, or do I have to reset it to factory defaults?
Thanks for the help. Getting frustrated with this version, and I was loving it when I first started using it.
Cheers,

Yes you can clear the caches.
File -> Preferences -> Reset Preferences
In the dialog make sure "Clear Caches" is selected, nothing else needs to be. Then hit OK. It'll delete the caches, going back into the gradient editor will cause PSP to rebuild them.

Re: Gradient in X9 not correct colors
yowgal Just a wild guess here, but it is possible that the problem is with the gradient itself & not PSP X9.

How did you get the gradient? Do you mean that you did not make this gradients yourself and obtained it from somewhere else.yowgal wrote:

Did you download it from somewhere else. Can you give the link so others can look at that gradient and perhaps download it and test it out?
