Is there anything to be done so when you move split videos in track 1 the rest of parts stay in place?
As you know video cameras stop after some time recording and automatically start again.
Sometimes to match the following video you have to move the shot a little to synchronise sound.
I always record sound separately with a recorder, specially in concerts, theatres, conferences, etc.
Once you have finished the project and you notice that the 1st part has move, it's difficult to move besause it moves the rest of the vídeos o the parts.
As a solution, I'll try from now on, to put all tracks as overlay. I don't know if is a good thing to do.
Any help on how to solve the problem with track 1 (main track)?
Thanks again.

Re: Corel X8. Main track.
You cannot remove video from the main track and leave a gap, adjoining video will always "snap to" to close the gap.
There is nothing stopping you using the overlay tracks, where you can make any adjustments you need

Hi Alfons
Consider upgrading to the latest version that has Multi Camera Editing.
Certainly if you do a lot of this type of editing the MCE will be useful.
Give the X9 Trial a run……….
You may wish to wait a few months as historically the next version has been released at the end of February. ish

Do all your track movement in the overlay tracks. You may need to add tracks using the Track Manager. MCE will only allow four tracks in Pro but six tracks in Ultimate. You can use the ripple edit lock to hold tracks in sync.

I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not so sure.
