VS X9 Preferences-performance tab

I have set PAL in the general tab of preferences.Under Video Proxy Options in the Performance tab, the frame rate shows 29.97 fps.I guess PAL needs 25 fps.How do I change this setting.I have enabled Smart Proxy and
auto generate proxy template (recommended) is ticked

Ken -- if you go to Settings > Preferences, then on the first General tab, you will see down the bottom we now have have the choice between PAL and NTSC. You need to pick PAL to get all the templates etc to be set to PAL standards.

I have set PAL at the bottom of the general tab and at the top of the edit tab, restarted VS and then the PC but 29.97fps still shows in the performance tab

Normally I leave “Auto generate proxy template” selected (ticked)
The 29.97 fps below is used as the default template when the auto option is deselected.

Once deselected the settings and Template button becomes active, we could then select another template using Pal.

But as I say with “Auto generate………” selected there is no need as the process is automatic.

To clarify,
ifAuto generate proxy template” is selected (ticked) and below shows 29.97 even though I am using PAL there is nothing to change.

Yes that is how I understand using Smart Proxy, only when using a manual approach to set a template do you have to worry about the settings.
