I am trying to find out something about Video Studio My DVD . I can only find a tutorial that refers to VS8 at
http://learn.corel.com/tips/video/new-v ... dio-mydvd/
But when I press the play button on the start page it only takes me to a jpg of the same image.
Does any one know where else I can look?

Re: Video Studio MyDVD VS X9
I think most of us look on 'MyDVD' as a bit of a "Mickey Mouse" programme Ken - I don't think many of the serious video makers use it at all.
It is a very very basic way of putting together a video and burning it to a DVD - with very few options to change things - maybe it's simplicity is the reason why there does not appear to be many (any) tutorials around
There is a pdf user guide though which should get you started - open 'MyDVD' - it doesn't matter which option you choose (DVD/AVCHD/Blu-ray)
In the top left corner click on 'Help' then select 'User Guide' and - depending on your personal computer configuration - a pdf document will open to allow you to study the fundamentals

Personal opinion here (have NOT used MyDvd) is that if what you want to do can be done with a pickup truck, that is what you use... but if you need the features of a dump truck, that is what you buy and use
So... if MyDvd does what you want, use it and be happy that it came free with VS
