How to convert ufo files to tif

Post by erock »

Hi,

I have PI X3 having been with them since they started.

I have hundreds of ufo files and I now need to convert them to tif.

What is the best and quickest way to do this please?

BTW I have Win 10 x64 and PI works great with it.

Thanks

Hi Oz,
I also still have PhotoImpact running on Win10. You can just run a Batch Convert on them. You realize converting the UFO files to TIF they will be flattened?

What other software do you have? You can maintain the layers by converting them to 24-bit PSD (Photoshop) files. They can be opened with the layers in either PhotoShop or Corel PSP.

Thanks.. Tried Quick Reply post but for some reason it hasn't showed. If it does, then please disregard this or the other..

I set up the Batch panel correctly (double checked) but when I hit Okay, I get a panel.. 'No files were converted'.

I will keep trying so I can get them over to Tiff excerpt the layered one which I will go to PSD which seems to be the only good option.

Not really, since UFO is a proprietary format. You will need a Corel product, PhotoImpact or Paintshop Pro.
