Switcching between 64-bit and 32-bit in PSP X9
I did a search and couldn't get anything at all to come up regarding 64 bit and 32 bit. I just purchased a new laptop last month and PSP X9 came with the software package. I have been a PSP user since 2002 (version 7, anniversary addition JASC). With the download of X9, I got both a 32 bit and a 64 bit version of the program. My computer is a 64 bit so that is the version that I will use most often simply for the speed and functionality. However, I have a multitude of plugins that will only work in the 32 bit version. Does anyone know of a way to switch back and forth between the two versions without going through the whole save image/close program/open other program/open image/apply filter/save image......ETC.!!?? I saw a youtube video where a guy linked his Lightroom program to his PSP and was just wondering if there was a way to do this between two PSP programs. I've researched it but have not been able to come up with a definitive answer. Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

There is no way. You have to save the image in one, then open the program to open the image in the other...Does anyone know of a way to switch back and forth between the two versions without going through the whole save image/close program/open other program/open image/apply filter/save image......ETC.!!??

Re: Switcching between 64-bit and 32-bit in PSP X9
If you had two versions of PSP say X8 and X9 then you could open the 64 bit version of PSP X( and the 32 bit version of X8.
Work in X9 and when you want to apply a plugin, drag the layer thumb down to the taskbar version of PSPX8.
It will open up and the image will appear on its work space. Apply the plugin and then reverse the procedure by dragging the layer thumb from X8 down to the task bar X9 which will then open up to allow the pasting of that image back in the 64 bit version of X9.
Edit: You do finish up with a number of duplicated images but you can delete these or keep them in case you want to try different effects on the same image.
