Hi,
So i've been using VideoStudio Pro X8 for a year, I tend to render at 1080p, 60fps, 20,000kbps. Up till now I haven't had any issues but for the first time I rendered a file over 30mins in length. Once the file had finished rendering (.mp4) I noticed that all video after the 31:15 point is a still image and only sound continues to play properly. I tried this more videos since and the same thing happens. I quickly assumed that the program was running out of memory at the 5gb mark as I only had 8gb of RAM. I purchased a further 8GB and tried the renders again but the exact same thing happens at the same 31:15 time frame.
I'm stumped, I really don't get why it would happen at that time for different projects. It's clearly something specific to that amount of data encoding (5gb) and I don't get what would cause it. Does anyone have any ideas please?
Thank you for your time.

Re: Finished render pauses video at set time when done
are you sure about the amount of data limit ? is it 5Gb or is it a bit over 4 Gb
what are you rendering the video to - an external hard drive of some sort perhaps - if so how is that formatted
if it is formatted to Fat32 then it will only support files of 4Gb (may be shown as 4.294 Mb) so rendering will stop there
it is unusual these days for a computer hard drive to be fat32 formatted - but it could be - drives for saving large video files need to be formatted to NTFS - - note that does NOT mean the American NTSC TV system.
