Hi
Rank beginner here! I've just started playing with the program (X9) and my very basic question is, how do I tell which effects I've applied and how do I remove them if I change my mind?
Thanks!
Sally

Re: Understanding which effects are applied
Hi - Welcome
If you double click on a clip in the timeline the "Options" panel will open - and as per my image below you will see a list of the effects applied to that clip - PROVIDED that the box just above the list labelled "Replace Last Filter" is not ticked - otherwise you will see that only the last filter is listed
to remove an effect - highlight it in the list and then click on the little 'X' (arrowed below) and it will be removed - notice the little up arrow above the X - that will move the highlighted affect up changing the order the effects are applied - this can change the final effect
