Capture and Import DVD Cam Video

Post by chazp »

Not since VS X5 Pro Ultimate have I been able to import my video files captured on DVD by my Hitachi DVD Camcorder. I thought that maybe there was a problem in VS X7 Ultimate upgrade so I upgraded to X8. I still cannot import. The Import process identifies the correct folders on my DVD Ram Disc, but then searches and says cannot find any files to import. VS X5 Pro Ultimate works like a dream. Should I waste more money upgrading my X8 to X9?////

Welcome to the forum -- and sorry you are having this trouble...

In X8, when you start the process of identifying video on your disc, it brings up screen like that in the image I have attached. Up in the top left corner of each small screen is a little box which unfortunately is not too obvious but you have to click the mouse in the box to select which tracks you want to import. Have you done that? And it is much the same in X7 and X9...
