Unable to upload to Youtube and FB via VS X9U

Describe your problem: When using Videostudio I am unable to upload higher quality videos

The Version of program is being used?: VS X9U

What are you trying to make Short video for upload to the internet.

Even though videostudio fails to upload, I can immediatly open Firefox and upload the same video file directly. During the extensive testing, all firewalls and virus programs were disabled.

I have spoken to Corel customer support with no effect. They got me to delete the user variables and try again. This is happening on two seperate Windows 10 computers on fresh installs.

Since both Youtube and FB have made various changes to their security settings on log-in many people are experiencing a problem connecting - but really the better answer is to come out of Videostudio and upload direct from your browser. I find that allows me to check the video for quality and errors before I upload it and I feel it gives much better control over the whole upload procedure

I know what you are saying, however this is not a new thing. A short google shows this has been around since 2013.

Regardless of this, it is a feature of the program and they as acompany should either support it, or remove it. I am sure it is not hard to fix and that more than likely they will delay it till new release.

After a few tests using both Internet Explorer and Firefox I get the same problems

I have passed the information to Corel Support, hopefully they can give some guidance.

Cheers for the suggestion. I tried with Edge, firefox and chrome to no avail.

As a side note, I am sure FB tops out at 1080p, where as youtube can go full 4k.

So I opened a ticket with corel and literally cut pasted the huge informative spiel at the top of the page. This is the response I got back and nearly lost my calm.

May I know why you are encountering problems when uploading higher quality videos? Did you encounter a problem? If yes, kindly elaborate your issue so I can understand well.

This is a known issue we're working to fix.

Yes, cloud upload problems appear occasionally in our products, sometimes due to issues on our end, other times when we're reacting to a change at YouTube, for example, which was the case here. When this happens, indeed the only workaround we have is to export to file and use YT.com to upload. Only a workaround, we're offering that feature in our product, and of course it is expected that it should work.

I apologize that this known issue information has not made it to Support yet, and that you didn't have a better experience with them. I'll discuss with them tomorrow and hope we can avoid similar such experiences for others.

I understand and I am sorry to say that the issue you are encountering is already escalated to our Engineering Department for further investigation. The only workaround for your problem is to upload it manually by signing in to youtube using browser.

I can confirm Vimeo upload works as intended, I do not have a Flikr.

Silly thing is i was waiting on them, not the other way around. I wrote back, and now they want some audit report.

I mean i dont mind, but at this rate i am thinking of a refund.

Corel have now issued Service pack 4 for Videostudio X9 and one of the problems it addresses is the upload to Youtube problem

Version number becomes 19.6.0.1 after update

Well that's strange as I have installed that service patch and now can upload to YouTube without seeing that error.
I tried both options, to upload a file and also to render my project before uploading, both options worked ok.

I have to say that I terminated the upload once it had started, but don't see any reason why it would not complete successfully.

Are you seeing the same errors when trying to upload.
