ASP3.2 Hangs in Batch Processing

Post by USAFAstro »

Sending groups of processed photos to full-size JPEG in batch mode and the program just hangs after a few (or sometimes dozens). Searched the forums, and I suppose some think it's plug-in usage. I'm typically using zperspector, wavelet sharpen, vigne, and black and white, but I can't seem to find a pattern as to which one might be causing the issue. Any suggestions or links to fixes? My New Year's Resolution may be Lightroom as this is becoming a huge time sink for me...

Yes that sometimes (too often) happens also here.
Try to leave the program and start again - this helps sometimes. I also noticed that the z* plugins causes problems. Sometimes switch off zFrame and (or) zText helps (switching on zText later and the image works again). There is also a problem with zPerspector and sharpen (ASP sharpen) and strange grids (patterns) - in this case it helps to change crop a little bit.
These problems are (along with the "no picture available" bug) really bad!
