Hello, not sure if this is the right place to ask. Just bought the x9 set to go with my DXO and need help on finding a basic feature. Can I copy the edit profile from one pic to another? I can simply copy and paste the setting from one to another in DXO, how can I do it in x9?
Thanks.

As far as I know, a Script would be the only way to accomplish that. You could start the Script Recording at the beginning of editing one image, save the script, then run it on your next image. Perhaps someone else here can give more detailed directions for you or you could just go to PSP Help & search for Scripting.

Scripts are the most common option. Once saved they can work across sessions of PSP.
Another option is to use the Record Edits and Apply Edits options inside the Manage Mode.
To capture edits
--Manage workspace
1 After editing an image in the Adjust workspace, Edit workspace, or Camera RAW Lab, save the changes, and return to the Manage workspace.
2 Select the thumbnail of the photo that you edited. A pencil icon or RAW icon appears in the upper-left corner of the thumbnail to indicate that the image has been edited.
3 Click the Capture Editing button on the Organizer toolbar. You can capture the edits of both open or closed files for the current session only. When you close the program, all captured edits are automatically deleted. You can also capture the edits by right-clicking the selected thumbnail and choosing Capture Editing
.
To apply captured edits
--Manage workspace
1 In the Organizer palette, select one or more thumbnails.
2 Click the Apply Editing button on the Organizer toolbar.
3 Click OK in the Batch Progress dialog box. For RAW files, the saved settings from the Camera RAW Lab dialog box are applied. When you close the program, all captured edits are automatically cleared. You can also apply the captured edits by right-clicking the selected thumbnails and choosing Apply Editing.

Another option to save a script is through the History palette in the Edit workspace (menu View/palettes/History -or- F3).
1) Once you've edited an image to satisfaction you can select the steps you want in the script in the usual Windows way (click, shift-click, ctrl-click) on the bar with the step's name.
2) Click on the Save Quickscript button on the top of the History palette. The selected steps are saved to a script called "QuickScriptTemp" in your Scripts-Trusted folder.
3) Select another image and click on the Run Quickscript button on the History palette.
The QuickScriptTemp is runable from the History palette or the Script toolbar until you save another, over-writing the original. You can save it permanently by selecting it in the script toolbar, Resource Manager button, and renaming it.

Oh, no expert here I am the kind of person that forgot everything I have done after adj the image. I usually did one and copy(ctrl+shift+C in DXO term) to the rest with the same lighting condition, I am surprise PSP don't have a easier way to do it. Now I can post it in the wish list threadTimW wrote:As far as I know, a Script would be the only way to accomplish that. There were no icon on thumbnail...
Now I have to try to remember what I have done to the image and recreate for the scripts, thanks.Forriner wrote: Another option is to use the Record Edits and Apply Edits options inside the Manage Mode.

That "Quote" from me was not what I said at all, was not a quote from me.MrDenly wrote:

With the History palette of an edited image in the Edit workspace (not Adjust workspace) (before closing it, you don't even have to save your work) you can save the edit steps that you want in a script, and run that on other images. Either through the History palette or the script toolbar. You can edit the script there too.
