Never mind. After I waited 10 minutes (with modem unplugged) I tried it again. This time, it loaded perfectly. All my custom folders are still there. Thank you for suggesting your temporary fix!!!

Well, I have just found it loads again without disabling the internet. And this has also now been reported in the other long thread. So it looks as though Corel has fixed it. Please try, and report back if you still have problems.

Service pack 6 released on Jan 24 seems to fix this problem (release notes). Needs version 9.5 as a pre-requisite, and I found that it loaded several updates one after the other, loading as soon as the X9 splash screen appears, and each requiring X9 to be closed. Final version 19.6.0.1
